Allegheny Mindfulness was created by professionals in the mental health field with the intent to share the benefits of mindfulness practices with the community. We offer trainings and workshops to both individuals and organizations. Julie is a licensed psychologist with 40 years of clinical experience. She trained in mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) in 1999 under the supervision of Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder of MBSR.
Licensed Social Worker
Courtney has been practicing in the mental health field locally for 13 years. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been using mindfulness principles in her school-based therapy practice.
